Purple Heart is a total BAIT & SWITCH company- they (Daniel) profess to be highly experienced movers and seem very caring and responsive UNTIL they have your deposit. Then it's impossible to reach them. This is a moving BROKER which is not clear up front. They take your money and then hook you up with a local mover- although that is not made very clear and communication about WHO that mover will be, how to contact them, their name etc is difficult to get from them. Their estimate was FULLY HALF what the actual movers charged when they arrived- Based on what they estimated the cubic feet of the detailed list of items to be moved would be (including "% overage to be on the safe side") This move was one that was time sensitive and at that point you are stuck- either agree to pay extra or they won't load the truck. Not only was PURPLE HEART MOVING GROUP a SCAM (I have no idea what they did to justify their part of the fee) but the movers they used ended up delivering things both damaged and wet, and then basically tried to DEMAND A TIP. NOT a good experience and I would most definitely NOT recommend them and in fact would WARN against using them.
